The BraunAbility Vangater Series lift for a wheelchair has a power tri-folding platform that allows for easy access into and out of a full-size wheelchair van for wheelchair access and ambulatory entry.
With a simple touch of the button, the wheelchair lift unfolds the platform into a fully-functional wheelchair lift in a compact package. Lift operation has three different control options – hand held control, on the lift control, and remote control.The tri-fold feature on the van lift allows for maximum room inside the vehicle.
To ensure the well-being of the wheelchair lift user, the Vangater wheelchair lift incorporates several safety features: an electric roll stop engages before the lift platform will rise from the ground, and a threshold sensor mat inside the wheelchair accessible van warns the user against exiting if the wheelchair lift is not level with the floor of the van.
The Vangater II Series is designed for installation in the side doors of domestic full-size wheelchair vans to transform a standard full-size wheelchair van into a wheelchair accessible van.
